Another Day Passes By
No clouds in sight.
But it rains and rains and rains and rains,
Running away from the pain inside.
A scar that dwells deep within.
An ornament en suite, the skin.
Copious needles pricking the heart,
A vision of glee, the sin.
One moment I had it all.
The next, I lost some.
But all, that has receded,
Was secondary to none.
So painless to acquire,
So arduous to unleash.
The treasures of life,
The strings of breath release.
And so I speculate what's life?
Ironic, but an obligation to survive!
And whilst all that's riding on my thoughts, too high,
Another day passes by, Another day passes by.
